The best acts who know their walking bass, blue notes, and groove are coming to the East Coast. The North Atlantic Blues Fest is a prestigious event for the biggest names in blues music. Come to hear the tunes from great performers and check out the food, drink, and arts & crafts vendors.
Now in its 24th year, the North Atlantic Blues Festival is a two-day affair that will be held on July 15 and 16. This is one of the top annual things to do in Maine.
The fun will take place at Public Landing in Rockland, which is located at 275 Main Street. Until July 10th, you can buy advanced sale tickets for $30/day, or $55 for the entire weekend.
Get there at 9 a.m. when the gates open for a good spot, and don’t forget your blankets and lawn chairs. The music starts at 11 a.m. on each day of the fest.
Expect to see names like Sari Schorr, Christone Kingfish Ingram, Kelley Hunt, Harmonicon, Anthony Gomes, and Kenny Neal.
Along with live music, you can browse the array of vendors from local businesses who will be selling food, drink, and all kinds of crafts.
Plus, there will be a Saturday Evening Club Crawl along Main Street. Wearing your festival wristband will get you admission into lots of clubs and restaurants for more live music.
